2016 in Review
I seriously have no words for how amazing this year was.
For my first official year in business, I got to celebrate the marriage of 15 incredible couples. That is an accomplishment I am so proud of, as those 30 people trusted me to capture such an important day in their lives. It's something I will never take for granted and will be forever grateful for. Thank you to my amazing wedding clients from 2016 for trusting in my talent and pushing me to create amazing new photographs!
Through those weddings and other styled shoots, this year also I connected with more talented Winnipeg wedding vendors. The wedding industry is a huge one, so I feel lucky when I'm able to meet and work with new vendors and see their creative talent firsthand. I wish them all the best for 2017!
Now for the models. The thing I'm most passionate about shooting is portrait photography; it's something I pushed myself to do a lot of this year. Photographing models not only from Winnipeg, but also from New York was a big accomplishment for me in 2016. I've now formed connections in a new city that I adore and hope to further those relationships by hopefully moving to NYC one day. So thank you to all the beautiful gals who stepped in front of my lens this year! You've all helped me out immensely in growing my portfolio.
For now, Winnipeg is home and a city that I love! It's filled with all my family, friends, and my amazing clients, all people who have helped me grow this little business of mine into what it is today. I could never put into words how thankful I am for every single one of those people, so instead I'll just spend my time photographing all of them so I can remember their beautiful faces for the rest of my life.
Okay so, turns out I had a lot of words to describe this amazing year😅 But it was honestly the best year of my life and I cannot wait to see what 2017 brings. Cheers to the New Year!
