Maddie & Rahel

It's always a good time when I get to shoot with one of my favourite models, miss Maddie, and this time was no exception! But this shoot felt a little extra special, because she brought along her friend Rahel to model as well! Rahel had never actually modelled before, but you could never tell, she was an absolute natural in front of the camera. Shooting with the two of them was such a treat.

Although we all gained about 50 mosquito bites (each), I think it's pretty evident from the photos that it was all worth it in the end! Lately I've tried to push myself to be a bit more creative, and I've set myself a goal for the summer of doing one styled shoot every week, to keep me on my toes. Working a full time job and having weddings every weekend can get very exhausting, and lately I've found myself in a bit of a rut. And that's not to say I haven't been able to be creative with the weddings I've had the pleasure of being a part of. But I'm hoping these styled shoots will remind me to step out of my comfort zone a little bit and push me creatively. They're sessions I'm doing just for myself.
