Smoke Bombed

Earlier this summer, I had the idea of doing a shoot with smoke bombs! And, although the concept has been a bit overdone, it became something that I really wanted to try.

So a few weeks ago I contacted a videographer friend of mine, Cole Stoughton, and the planning began! We found our amazing model, Jade Michael, and started deciding on makeup and wardrobe.

Last weekend the whole session came together! We spent a few hours shooting (in the wind and rain) in Birds Hill Park, which made for a beautiful backdrop for the smoke grenades.

I am so beyond thrilled with the results of this shoot. Although we had to battle the on and off rain, and the dark, cloudy sky, we made it all work and I am in love with my images. These are ones I'll be sharing for a long time, I'm sure.

So, thanks again to Jade for being SO amazing💜 For never working with smoke grenades before, I don't think we could've chosen a better model. And thank you Cole for planning this whole thing with me! I can't wait to collab more in the future.
